Terms of Service
The plain-English agreement between you and Astra when you order a reading. Please read it; we've kept it short.
1. The service
Astra produces personalized natal-chart readings. The astronomical chart is computed using the Swiss Ephemeris. The interpretive prose is generated by an AI language model against a structured prompt informed by traditional astrological texts. The reading is delivered as a PDF to the email address you provide.
Astrology is interpretive content for personal reflection and entertainment. It is notmedical, psychological, legal, or financial advice. Don't make irreversible life decisions based on a paragraph about your Saturn return.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to order a reading. By placing an order, you confirm the birth data you submit is accurate to the best of your knowledge — incorrect data produces an incorrect chart, and we cannot remedy that retrospectively.
3. Pricing and payment
Prices are shown at checkout in US dollars and are processed by Stripe. Astra never sees or stores your card number. The amount charged is the amount displayed at the moment you confirm checkout; all amounts are computed server-side and authenticated by Stripe.
4. Delivery
A short preview email is delivered after your initial order (typically within 60 seconds). If you upgrade to the full report, delivery follows successful payment confirmation, generally within a few minutes. Delivery times depend on email providers and AI inference latency and are estimates, not guarantees.
Email links to your report are short-lived; the link in your email re-signs a fresh download URL each time you click it, so old emails continue to work.
5. Refunds
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If your reading didn't land for you, email hello@astra.reportwith the email address you used at checkout and we'll refund you. See our Refund Policy for details.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Resell, redistribute, or republish a reading without permission.
- Scrape, crawl, or use automated tooling to bulk-order readings.
- Submit fraudulent payment information or use stolen cards.
- Rely on a reading for medical, psychological, legal, or financial decisions.
- Submit data about a third party without their consent.
7. Intellectual property
The PDF we deliver is yours — you may print it, store it, and share it with friends and family for personal use. The Astra brand, the generation system, and the prompt scaffolding behind the readings remain ours. Astra retains operational records of your order (payment metadata, delivery logs) as described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that the reading will be accurate, complete, useful, uninterrupted, or error-free. Astrology is interpretive; reasonable people will read the same chart differently.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Astra's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant reading. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have as a consumer under the laws of your country that cannot be waived by contract — including, for EU and UK consumers, statutory rights that override this section.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Portugal, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The courts of Lisbon, Portugal have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from or relating to this agreement, except where mandatory law in your country of residence requires otherwise.
If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you retain all rights granted to you by the consumer-protection laws of your country of residence; nothing in this section limits those rights. You may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

11. Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the current version. Material changes will be announced by email to active customers; continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance.
